Welcome to the 2015 edition of American British Trade & Investment, the Guide to Investing in the USA. Since launching this report back in 2004, BritishAmerican Business has always endeavoured to provide the clearest picture of the US – its states, industries and services.
As the leading transatlantic business organisation, we provide our members with practical, measurable business expansion opportunities by delivering high-calibre relationship and brand building platforms, top-quality business insights and intelligence, together with regulatory advice and influence.
Our organisation stands at the heart of the business relationship between the US and the UK and continental Europe, with an extended network that reaches more than 60 major business centres throughout North America and Europe.
Our growing membership includes many of the world’s leading multinational and middle market companies, supported by the leaders of over 100 of the world’s most successful companies through their participation in our highly influential International Advisory Board.
The quality of our membership and our programming has been the central factor in our success and, over the last year, we have hosted more than 100 high-level events where over 200 chairmen, CEOs, thought leaders and decision makers have addressed more than 8500 executives.
Reflecting our members’ increasing regulatory concerns, BritishAmerican Business has substantially expanded its advocacy work with government on a wide range of issues including taxation, immigration, regulation, IP and aviation infrastructure.
We are further developing our leadership role in promoting the prospective EU-US Transatlantic Trade & Investment Partnership (TTIP). This has included submitting policy recommendations to government to improve the negotiation outcomes, launching and running an EU-US Trade & Investment Forum, acting as secretariat to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on TTIP, launching a website focusing on the negotiations, and conducting a series of TTIP roadshows throughout the UK.
Our American British Trade & Investment guide to investing in the USA provides an introduction to the wealth of knowledge available through our members and business partners.
