The British-American Business Council (BABC) is the largest transatlantic business network.
We have chapters throughout North America and the UK, with a collective total of more than 2000 member companies based in more than 20 major business centres, including many of the world’s largest multinationals as well as hundreds of middle-market and smaller companies.
We are dedicated to helping these companies build their business by providing access to a high-quality, transatlantic business network that extends far beyond their own home cities, and to a portfolio of targeted business services and opportunities.
If you are looking to establish or expand your business in the US, we have a regional chapter ready to help you. The same applies in reverse, if you are a company looking to build your business in the UK and continental Europe. As well as knowing their regional marketplace, our chapters all have member companies who want to do business with
companies like yours.
Members of our chapters have access to all the BABC’s marketing support, business development, visa facilitation, cost- savings and other services, and to the full range of our transatlantic business connections.
They can connect with our other member companies in more than 20 major business centres in several ways – for example, by participating and engaging in the programmes of any of our chapters when they are travelling; by joining us at our next Annual Transatlantic Business Conference, in New York from 13-15 May 2015, at which we will bring together business executives from all our chapters for an extensive, high level programme of business sessions and networking; and through our password-protected Online Membership Directory.
Our role is simple: we help companies make connections and do business. So if you are (or plan to become) involved in transatlantic business and do not already know about the BABC, I would strongly encourage you to contact your regional BABC chapter to find out what they and the broader BABC network can offer you.
I know that they will be happy to hear from you, and to provide all the support and connections that they can.
